About Us

About Us

 Welcome to Daws' Dogs!

I’m Jo, a passionate dog lover based in Copthorne, West Sussex.

Before launching Daws' Dogs, I spent years caring for family and friends' pets, from Labradors to Jack Russell's—every pup is welcome here! With my sons just as dog-obsessed as I am, there’s never a shortage of playtime, cuddles, and love in our home.

Now, looking after dogs is not just my passion—it’s my full-time job. I offer a range of services, including dog walking, boarding, drop-in visits, and daycare, welcoming dogs of all ages and breeds. I take pride in providing a home-from-home experience with dedicated one-on-one care.

We also offer secure field sessions, giving dogs the freedom to run, play, and explore in a safe and enclosed environment. These sessions are perfect for high-energy pups, dogs working on their recall, or those who simply love the space to roam.

Based in Copthorne, we provide our services to the surrounding areas, ensuring high-quality care for your pets wherever you are.

If you have any questions or would like to book a service, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can't wait to meet your furry friend!

FAQ

My dog doesn’t get along with other dogs. Can you still walk them?

Absolutely! At Daws' Dogs, we tailor our walks to suit each individual dog. Whether your pup prefers a solo stroll or a quieter environment, we can provide the right service to ensure they feel comfortable and happy.

Do you offer group walks?

Yes! While we don’t do traditional group walks, we do offer group sessions in a secure, enclosed dog walking field. It’s a fantastic way for your dog to burn off energy in a safe space while enjoying socialization and playtime with other friendly pups.

My dog isn’t good with children. Can they still stay overnight?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer overnight boarding for dogs that are not good with children as our youngest team members are my sons Jacques and George. However, we do offer daycare during school hours and can recommend trusted overnight boarders if needed—just get in touch!

Do you walk dogs off-lead?

For safety reasons, we walk most dogs on a lead or longline. However, we also offer secure field sessions for both solo dogs and groups. If your pup loves to run free but isn’t keen on playing with others, we can arrange a private session—just let us know!

What does a typical walk involve?

Every dog is different, so we tailor our walks to suit their needs. Options include pavement walks, forest and field routes, secure field sessions, and even scent walks with engaging games to keep their minds active.

Why choose Daws' Dogs?

Because we truly love what we do (and we love Dogs!) Over the past two years, we’ve had the pleasure of caring for so many wonderful dogs, providing a safe, loving, and fun experience for every pup that joins our pack.
